Pantry Planning Tips
  • Stock your pantry with items based on your family’s favourite recipes.
  • Try to group similar items together, such as different types of pasta, in one area of a shelf. Items can also be grouped according to recipes, so you can see at a glance what you need.
  • Throw out old canned and bottled foods, then make a trip to Wal-Mart to stock up on fresh goods.
  • To stock your pantry, place heavier items like vegetable oils and flour on the bottom shelf, everyday goods on the middle shelves and rarely used items on the top shelves.
